Why OpenSource EV?

Truly Open Source

Our 3D-printed designs are publicly posted on Printables.com, free to download, print, and remix. Because open source means actually open.
Community Driven

No boardroom, no focus group. Owners suggest what to fix, and a better version can ship in days. Every V2 and V4.5 was earned that way.
Premium Construction

Made from ASA for superior durability, excellent UV resistance, and a heat resilience well above anything a parked cabin reaches.
Sustainably Manufactured

Made with renewable solar and wind energy. Shipped in recyclable packaging with paper tape and labels. All shipping is 100% carbon-offset.
Made in the USA

All 3D-printed parts are manufactured in Pittsburgh, PA by a fellow owner. Even filament used in production is also Made in the USA.
