Description  

The OpenSourceEV Center Console Organizer Pro for the Rivian R1S and R1T is a ground-up overhaul of the organizer that Rivian owners have relied on to tame the center console. Same footprint. Same drop-in hanger install. Everything else has been rebuilt.

It's still two pieces - a hanger that installs in the small space just under the console lids, and a tray that drops right into the center of the hanger - but the mesh, the divider system, and the liner have all been reworked based on community feedback.

  • Slides for full-depth access: The tray slides forward and rearward on the hanger so you can reach items stored underneath without ever removing the organizer. No prying, no lifting the whole thing out to grab what's below - just slide it and reach.
  • Full-length mesh: The updated grid pattern now runs the entire length of both sides. That lets far more light through - daylight from the open console up top, or the console LED at night - while keeping the walls exceptionally strong.
  • Liner included: The soft tray liner now comes standard - no longer a separate purchase! It's made of flexible TPU rubber and it's perfectly sized to fit in the bottom of the organizer. It removes easily and wipes clean.
  • New two-divider system: The old fixed divider is gone. In its place are movable dividers that insert into the mesh diamonds - small nubs on the sides lock them into the grid. The dividers are lightly meshed themselves, so light passes through and they flex just enough to accommodate whatever you pack in. Place them nearly anywhere that makes sense, or leave them out entirely. Two are included, and they are the same, matching mesh as the new Adjustable Center Console Divider Pro.
  • Anti-swivel bracket: The organizer stays put and won't twist or drop into the console, unlike some less thoughtful competitors. The bracket installs and removes in under 10 seconds when needed.
  • Two depth sizes: Standard depth (6 cm) and Extended depth (9 cm). Both pair with the OpenSourceEV Adjustable Center Console Divider Pro, which installs right below.

Fits all Rivian R1S and R1T (Gen 1 and Gen 2), in both Standard and Extended sizes. Coming soon for the R2.

Great storage solution

Great storage solution, but not quite tall enough or wide enough to fit my wallet vertically. Tissues have to go in the small slot and my wallet lies in the bottom of the basket.

Perfect for access to bottom console

My previous console tray covered the entire top console. It was annoying to remove the tray every time I needed to access my tissue box or pump hand sanitizer. The new sliding console tray makes life easy and works as intended! Great job Open Source EV. Thank you

Tame your center console black hole.

This thing is a must for Rivian owners. The center console a spacious black hole and this brings some sanity to it.

Great organizer

Easy to install and easy to use

Much easier to reach

Much easier to reach than the bottom of the organizer while driving. Great place to keep a toll tag or whatever. Also like that you don't have to pry the surrounding shim out to reach below it, the tray itself can just be picked up when you need to get down to things in the bottom.

Works as advertised, slides easily. I would say it takes a little getting used to when you first start using it, but once you get onto it, you can easily get to the things you have stored below it. It works well with the Adjustable Center Console divider, particularly if you have that it in the middle position.

Great addition to R1T

The center organizer covers half of the opening. It slides forward and backward so you can still reach the bottom of the center console to reach things like tissues. It is very handy.

So much more convenient than the other console dividers since you can actually get to items at the bottom. Should have bought this originally rather than wasting my money on the other style.

Best design

Of all the after market organizer trays out there, this is the best design. All the others have one flaw or another (read the reviews), and they ALL have the flaw of requiring to be removed to access space below. This organizer is really well thought out. Once ingeniously inserted into the gap below the rim of the opening, it is stable and slides effortlessly. That the basket is suspended in the sliding frame is brilliant—easily removed and replaced.
