The OpenSourceEV OBD-II Dual USB Charger gives your Rivian R2 a clean, hidden power source for a charging phone holder, a dashcam, or anything else that runs on USB. It plugs straight into the R2's OBD-II port, so there are no cables snaking from the center console and no outlets taken up. We tested it alongside every OBD-II charger we could find, including the ones our competitors sell, and it matched the best of them.

Why This Charger

• Made to Fit the R2: Many OBD-II chargers are too bulky or too squat to seat fully past the plastic trim around the R2's port. This one clears it and plugs in all the way.

• Dust Covers Included: The R2's OBD-II port sits down in the footwell, where dirt, sand, and road grime collect. Built-in covers plug each USB port when it's not in use, keeping debris out.

A Note on 25W Charging

Faster 25W wireless charging requires a 15-volt USB-C PD supply. We tested five OBD-II to USB chargers -- including every one our competitors sell -- and none of them provide it. If someone claims faster charging from an OBD-II port, be very, very skeptical.
