The OpenSourceEV Aux Cupholder Kit for R2 adds a drink holder right on the door of your Rivian R2, where you and your passengers can actually reach it. No more wedging a bottle between the seat and console or rolling around the floor. It installs by hand in seconds, locks in place, and comes off just as easily when you don't need it.

Why the Aux Cupholder Kit

• A Drink Where You Need It: Mounts to the door, so every seat -- front or back -- can have its own cup holder within arm's reach.
• Two Mounting Spots: Choose the Upper hanger, which hangs from the top of the door by the window, or the Lower hanger, which grips the door pocket. Mix and match to put drinks wherever your passengers want them.
• No Tools, No Damage: The hanger installs by hand and the cup clips on. No adhesives, no drilling, no modifications to your R2.
• Locks In Place: An included retaining pin locks the cup to the hanger so it stays put on the road.
• Fits Big Bottles Too: Two cup sizes cover everything from a soda can to a 40oz water bottle, and both have a side cutout for mugs and bottles with handles.
• Made for Car Interiors: 3D printed from ASA, a plastic designed to resist sun fading and heat. We print every one ourselves in Pittsburgh, PA, and back it with a 1-year warranty.

Choosing a Hanger

Each kit includes one hanger and one cup.

• Upper Door (Front or Rear): Hangs from the channel at the top of the door, where the window meets the door panel. Puts your drink up high, close to hand. Available in front and rear door versions.
• Lower Door Pocket (Front or Rear): Grips the door pocket for a secure friction fit. Keeps your drink lower and out of the way. Available in front and rear door versions.

Choosing a Cup Size

• Standard: 79mm wide at the top, 71mm at the bottom, 89mm tall. Fits cans, 20oz plastic bottles, most fast-food cups, and 20oz-ish insulated bottles.
• Large: 92mm wide throughout, 102mm tall. Fits 40oz water bottles and mugs.

Both sizes flex slightly to grip your drink. We strongly recommend measuring the cups and bottles you use most before ordering.

Add More Anytime

Want a drink holder at every seat? Extra cups are available separately. The cups and retaining pins are shared across our cup holder line, so parts carry over as you add on -- you never have to rebuy the whole kit.
