The OpenSourceEV BeverageStation for the Rivian R1S and R1T is the best to store drinks in your vehicle. It holds THREE beverages of your choice within easy reach. You can additionally use it as a divider of the open center console storage area when not in use. It also is an unobtrusive and is easy to install in under 60 seconds.

Overview

This larger BeverageStation stretches over the front of the lower center console opening. There is a small clip that installs on both sides of the open part of the center console and a mounting bar that slides in and connects the two. This allows for storage of up to three beverages of your choice - one in the passenger footwell, and two in the front most part of the open center console area. The mounting location is customizable so it will not impact with operation of the lower drawer or Camp Speaker.

Construction

BeverageStation is comprised of fa few different parts:

  1. One dual-sided clip that installs onto the wall of the lower console area on the passenger side. It rotates into position and locks in between where the two plastic trim pieces are joined.
  2. One single sides clip that installs onto the wall of the lower console area on the driver side. It also rotates into position and locks in place.
  3. One Main mount - a bar that slots into place connecting the two side clips. On the back of the mount
  4. Up to three clamps to hold your beverage of choice in place. These are flexible rings designed to hold the beverage container in place while it sits on center console liner, or passenger footwell.
  5. For each clamp installed on the mounting bar, an additional 35-degree mount is provided. This allows for the drink to angle forward for easy reach, insertion, and removal.

The BeverageStation has two size options for each clamp:

Standard
79MM wide. This size is designed to hold most common drink sizes such as cans, 20oz plastic bottles, most fast-food drinks, and 20ish oz vacuum insulated cups. Keep in mind that cans should only be held in the inner mounting location due to the lower floor in the passenger footwell.

Large
92MM wide. This size is designed for common 40z water bottles and mugs. This size fits the recently introduced Stanley insulated beverage holder and most wider bottles.

Each version flexes and has a cutout down the side so you can insert beverage holders that have a handle on them. Before purchasing, we strongly recommend measuring the beverages you're looking to install.

Installation:

Rotate the double-sided clip onto position on the wall of the passenger side of the lower center console. Make sure that the small protrusion fits in between the seam of the inner and outer plastic wall. Repeat the same process for the driver side single clip, making sure they are the same distance away from the front of the front of the open, lower center console. (About 4-5 inches works well)

Next install, the main bar - its friction fit and should slot right into place between the two clips. We suggest the mounts for the beverage clamps be at the front of the vehicle.

Finally, install all clamps. They are also frictions fit and will have a small click when inserted. We suggest using the 35-degree adapters when installing the clamps on the main mount - these are optional, but they tilt the front forward slightly allowing it to be inserted easier, removed easier, and clear the bottom part of the dash.

Other Considerations:

  • Clamps are somewhat flexible but bottles much larger than them should not be inserted.
  • Cups from the Aux Cupholder range will mount on the portion in the passenger footwell but will not mount on slot inside the lower center console.
