The OpenSourceEV Parts Seat Back Holder for the Rivian R1S and R1T is low-profile tablet holder designed to be used with the Seat Back Tablet Mount V1 and V2. It holds securely, installs easily, and the range of swivel is extensive due to its low-profile design.
To use, screw it to the Seat Back Tablet Mount. Extend both sides of the holder and place the tablet in the middle. Gently adjust to the correct angle for optimal viewing.
This tablet holder can accommodate most tablets with up to an 11" screen as long as they are 8" or smaller across its shortest side.
It's important to note that this is ONLY the holder. It's designed to attach to a 17MM mount in the Seat Back Attachment System (and is bundled with it) or to the older Seat Back Tablet Mount. It might be pictured installed, but it's only the item shown in the main photo.
Also: When assembling, the screw attaching to mount should not be overtightened - it should only be snug. We recommend these to be uninstalled when not in use - they can be easily stored in the rear door pocket. Seat Back Tablet Mount and tablets pictured are not included.
